The Greenbrier’s iconic original Charles Blair MacDonald-designed golf course made history Easter weekend. The Old White TPC, the first 18-hole golf course at The Greenbrier, opened in 1914. A legend of Greenbrier golf history, the course was named for the well-known Old White Hotel, which stood on the grounds from 1858 to 1922.

By proclamation released at a news conference held at the state capitol, West Virginia joined the national program that includes ski-industry states in North America.
