Joe Justice is a computer animator, visual effects artist and presentation specialist working at The Media Center.

Joe Justice always brings an education-oriented approach to all of his projects. Initially learning the art of computer animation from producing educational television programming, he developed a sense for how to present complex information to audiences with diverse levels of knowledge. His approach focuses on taking the complex and choosing the best available technologies to distill it down to more accessible concepts. His technical proficiency has given him the ability to quickly and effectively assimilate a multitude of software and hardware tools to achieve his fundamental goal of education, be it for a mediator, jury or the public at large.

19th Annual YWCA Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon

On Friday, March 6th, 2015, from noon-1:30 p.m., the 19th annual YWCA Women of Achievement Awards luncheon took place at Embassy Suites in downtown Charleston, WV with a sold-out crowd of 500 attendees.

This year’s YWCA honorees were Sharon Flanery; Kitty Dooley; BrickStreet Empowerment Award winner, Amy Thomas; and Judy Wellington.

Starting back in August, WCHSTV.com and The Media Center teamed up to bring HD, broadcast quality High School football right to people's home via live web streaming. In the early 20th century the Arrow Clothing Company revolutionized magazine advertisements by creating a character commonly referred to as the "Arrow Collar Man". The character was created by illustrator J. C. Leyendecker as a suave, cosmopolitan gentleman that in many respects was the urban response to the tough and rowdy image of manliness at the time. Leyendecker's illustrations showed you could be well kept, sophisticated and still be masculine, provided of course your clothing came from the Arrow Clothing Company...

The cool thing is, the "ads" mentioned are mostly social media events or ideas outside the conventional 30 second TV spots. For example, you've got The Lego Movie....

Dollar Energy Fund TV Advertisement

Dollar Energy Fund is a 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for households experiencing hardships by providing utility assistance and other services that lead to self-sufficiency.

We developed this TV advertisement to tell the story children who can't study because they're too cold and to illustrate how those dollar bills really impact people. Checking the box on your utility bill makes a big difference!
