July 27, 2012 - The Media Center was in Whitesville, W.Va. providing live satellite news/media coverage for the Dedication of the Upper Big Branch Miner's Memorial at the Unveiling Ceremony.

The focal point of the Upper Big Branch Miners Memorial has been installed at the memorial plaza in Whitesville, WV, and the monument was covered until the official dedication Friday, July 27th when it was unveiled during a public ceremony at approximately 2:00pm.

Officials at ACE Adventure Resort are prepared for their attempt to break the currently held Guinness World Record™ for zip-lining this Sunday, June 3 at the southern West Virginia resort. Event organizers hope to send more than 150 zippers along one segment of the resort's mile-long zip-line course, which follows the edge of the New River Gorge, in less than an hour.

TimberTrek is taking aerial adventures to new levels this summer. The new recreation system, designed to be fun for children as young as seven years of age, has five courses of varying difficulties. Set about 10 - 70 feet in the air, the courses are rated like ski slopes – from easy to difficult – and include challenging obstacles, bridges, swings and zip lines.
